Comments on: Silent Valley Resort, Kudremukh, Western Ghats

Hi Friends,

Come across with the review of Mr.Joji while going through reviews of ‘Silent Valley’ resort.I had been to this resort in last May 2009. It was one of my most pleasant stay I can say. The words of Mr.Joji looks strange for me as I have seen a hygienically maintained cottages with excellent service from the team at resort. Heard that, management has changed since April 2008. Hence may be this world of changes between my my experience & that of Mr.Joji.

Anyway, I can say this is an ideal place for those who are looking out for a stress releasing week end. Well maintained ethnic cottages, tasty homely food, picturistic surroundings and the hospitality beyond comparison what makes this a must visit place.

I was there at this place with some of my friends. It was a disaster. Rooms were not clean and food was pathetic, but with 5star price. Of course the natural beauty is good, but expect other things worst. Saw some other places nearby where decent lodging is available… So if you plan to go, look at any other option than Silent valley…
